The North Bay Public Library offers a number of programs and events for those aged 13 - 17 including our Teen Advisory Group and Teen Summer Book Club.

Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Our Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a volunteer opportunity for teens who use the library. By joining this group, teens earn volunteer hours by helping to develop the library's collection (both physical and digital), help plan programs, and give input on library space.
Next meeting: Thursday October 22, 6-7PM in the Board Room (lower level of the library)
This will be an in person meeting. Meet and chat with others, pick out some books, and eat some snacks!

The North Bay Public Library is excited to announce the start of a new Student Study Zone! If you need a place to focus, recharge, and get your work done, the Student Study Zone is the ideal space for you. Whether you're working on assignments, preparing for exams, or collaborating on group projects, this welcoming environment is designed to help you stay productive. With a calm atmosphere and minimal distractions, it's the perfect spot to transform your study time into success. Feel free to drop by our mezzanine room, settle in, and make the most of your study sessions!
Quarterly Creepy Cross Stitch
Come stitch some creepy hungry plants with us on Thursday Oct. 22nd from 6-8PM in the Mezzanine Room!
Stundew by Noctiflora Designs is an intermediate cross stitch pattern featuring backstitching and beading. Not to worry if you’re new, there will be lots of help available.
This porgram is for ages 16+.
This is a ticketed program - registration is required in person.
Tickets are $10.00/person. Everyone wishing to participate MUST have a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable.

Movie Matinee at the Library - Nosferatu (1922)
Calling all cinema buffs! Join us on Saturday October 24 from 12:30-3PM in the Auditorium for an afternoon showing of the film Nosferatu (1922)!
Prior to the show we’ll have a brief discussion of some cool facts and context about the film!
This is a free event open to ages 16+. Snacks will be provided.

Join us on Tuesday October 27 from 6-7PM in the library auditorium.

Halloween Ghost Hunting!
Pages of books mysteriously turning on their own, lights flickering on and off without warning, books tumbling off shelves, and book carts eerily gliding down the aisles. Something unusual is happening at the North Bay Public Library this October!
GHOSTS have taken over the Library, and we need your help to get rid of them! With our ghost-busting kits, join the North Bay Public Library Staff in busting ghosts this Halloween!
We invite children ages 4 to 16 to form teams of 4 and embark on an exciting adventure. Each team will have 20 minutes to explore our auditorium, hunting down as many ghosts as they can using our state-of-the-art laser hunting kits. Remember, it’s important to work together and strategize.. Just don’t cross the streams!
Bring your enthusiasm and bravery as you engage in this fun-filled ghost hunt. At the end of the day, you too can proudly declare, "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" Don’t miss this spooky and exciting opportunity to help us reclaim the Library from the playful spirits haunting its halls this October!
