No supplies will be provided, please bring your own craft to work on.
Service Canada In Person Clinic
Service Canada In-Person Clinic - September 14, 2026 10:30-3PM in the Mezzanine Room.
Book your time at the main desk to meet with a Service Canada agent to talk about the Canadian Dental Care Plan, Canada Pension Plan, and Old Age Security Benefits programs.
Individual time slots are available to reduce wait times. Please visit the main desk or call 705-474-4830 to reserve your time slot.
Bling Your Library Bag!
Decorate your very own library bag! You can bring your own bag to decorate, or use one that is provided. Everyone who wants to decorate a bag MUST register individually! Supplies will be provided.

This free program is family friendly for ages 8 and up. Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Book Bedazzling!

Add some sparkle to your shelves at our Book Bedazzling Night! This creative, hands-on program invites you to personalize a book with gems and rhinestones, turning it into a dazzling piece of art. Whether you’re refreshing a well-loved favourite or giving new life to a plain cover, you’ll leave with something truly eye-catching and unique.
Bring a book of your own to transform, or choose from a small selection we’ll have available in case you forgot yours. We’ll provide all the sparkly supplies you need—but please note that materials are limited, so designs will focus on decorating smaller sections rather than the entire cover.
Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere while you craft, chat, and let your creativity shine. Perfect for a night out, a solo creative escape, or trying something new!

Movie Matinee at the Library - Sherlock Holmes: Terror by Night
Calling all cinema buffs! Join us on Saturday September 26 from 12:30-3PM in the Mezzanine Room for an afternoon showing of the film Sherlock Holmes: Terror by Night (1946)!
Prior to the show we’ll have a brief discussion of some cool facts and context about the film!
This is a free event open to ages 16+. Snacks will be provided.
