Join us for a preschool program filled with music, stories, and crafts.
For ages 1-5 years with their parent/caregiver on Thursdays from 10:30 - 11AM in the Children's Storyroom.
This is a free, drop-in style program.

Join us for a fun-filled Children's Crafternoon! 🎨✨ Each week brings a brand-new hands-on craft, from painting and paper creations to seasonal projects and imaginative DIY fun. Kids will have the chance to explore different materials, learn new skills, and express their creativity in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
This drop-in program is perfect for young creators who love making, building, and decorating. Caregivers are to stay and join in the fun and crafty with the children! 🎉
All crafting supplies will be provided, though quantities are limited. Be sure to arrive early to secure your materials – it's first-come, first-served!

If you need a place to focus, recharge, and get your work done, the Student Study Zone is the ideal space for you. Whether you're working on assignments, preparing for exams, or collaborating on group projects, this welcoming environment is designed to help you stay productive. With a calm atmosphere and minimal distractions, it's the perfect spot to transform your study time into success. Feel free to drop by our mezzanine room, settle in, and make the most of your study sessions!
Holiday Card Making for Seniors
⚠️❗ This Program is specifically for making cards for seniors in North Bay; all cards will be given to the care homes in North Bay!

Please also note that each person that is attending MUST have their own separate registration, we need a name for each person. Having a guardian registered and then adding in a note that they are bringing extra children is not an acceptable registration for each child. Spaces are limited due to fire codes, exact numbers are required. The only exception is for an infant that would be in a carrier.⚠️

For the past few years, the North Bay Public Library has hosted a Holiday Card for Seniors program. In this initiative, we collect handmade cards from the community and deliver them to care homes in December. This year, we are excited to announce that we will also hold a card-making session for anyone who would like to create cards for seniors.
We will provide a variety of supplies, including cardstock, decorative paper, stamps, stickers, markers, and more, to help you design unique and heartfelt holiday cards. No experience is required! Just bring your creativity and holiday spirit!
Come craft with us and add a personal touch for the seniors of North Bay!

Family Crafternoon!
⚠️ Please be advised of the following important guidelines regarding registration:
1. If you are registering on behalf of a child and participating/will be accompanying them/assiting them in crafting activities or making a craft for yourself, it is essential that you also register a spot for yourself. We have limited supplies.
2. Each participant is required to complete an individual registration, and we must have a name for each attendee. Please refrain from registering a guardian and including a note indicating that additional children will be accompanying them, as this will not be considered an acceptable registration. Due to fire safety regulations, we have limited space, and precise numbers are essential. The sole exception to this policy applies to infants in carriers.
3. Registrations cannot be processed if the necessary information is submitted in the notes section. You are required to enter all pertinent details yourself. Registration will be cancelled if this guideline is not followed.⚠️

Each month, we will feature a unique, family-friendly craft project designed to engage participants of all ages. All necessary supplies will be provided, and no advanced crafting skills are required. Just bring your creativity!

November Craft:
Paper Lanterns!
We’ve taken care of cutting the patterns using our Cricut Machine, allowing you to focus on the fun part—assembly and decorating!
Every participant will have the chance to unleash their creativity by decorating, colouring, and embellishing their very own paper lantern to enhance each unique creation. Once everyone has completed their artistic touches, they will learn how to fold and/or glue their lanterns together, ensuring they can take home a finished product that reflects their personal style.
As a bonus, each participant will receive a digital tea light that will not only serve as a safe, cozy way to illuminate their lanterns at home but also create a warm, inviting atmosphere for their crafts. This project promises to be a delightful blend of creativity and fun, perfect for all ages!

Lego Day!
🧱✨ LEGO DAY – A Day of Creativity and Fun! ✨🧱
Calling all young builders and aspiring architects! The North Bay Public Library is thrilled to invite children aged 5 to 12 to a LEGO Building Day in our auditorium! 🏗️🎉
On November 27th, build anything you can dream up, whether it's a towering skyscraper, a race car, or a magical castle. The sky's the limit!
