Read, Sing, Play!

Read, Sing, Play

Join us for a preschool program filled with music, stories, and crafts.

For ages 1-5 years with their parent/caregiver on Thursdays from 10:30 - 11AM in the Children's Storyroom. 

This is a free, drop-in style program.

Valentine Card Making!

Registration will open on January 20, 2026 @ 10:00am.

❤️ Valentine’s Card-Making! 💌✨

Love is in the air! and glue, glitter, and giggles are too! 💖 Join us for a crafty celebration where you can make your very own Valentine’s cards for someone special.

🎨 Supplies provided! you bring the creativity, we’ll bring the sparkles! ✂️✨

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages welcome! (An adult MUST accompany children under 12.)

📅 Date: Tuesday, February 10th

🕕 Time: 6:00–7:30 PM

📍 Location: Library Auditorium

LEGO Robotics

LEGO Robotics Workshop - Please note that you are signing up for all 4 days. 

Ages : 11-13

Dates: January -17th, 31st , February - 14th, 28th  

Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Cost: $20 per ticket - In person only.

Join us for 4 sessions of the LEGO Robotics workshop, where young builders and aspiring engineers can explore the exciting world of robotics! Designed for ages 11 to 13, this hands-on workshop will cover the basics of building and programming LEGO robots. Participants will collaborate to create, test, and refine some robotic inventions.

Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, this fun and educational workshop will ignite their creativity and enhance their problem-solving skills.

Limited spots are available—reserve yours today for just $20 in person only at the library. 

NOTE FOR PARENTS: Your child will be partnered with other children, they MUST be able to share and work well with others. 

NOTE FOR PARENTS: The North Bay Public Library ask to inform parents that young children/babies should not be in attendance as pieces are very small and are choking hazards. 

Little Sprouts Stories

💵 Cost: Free

👨‍👩‍👧 An adult must accompany children 12 and under at all times.

🌟 This program will be led by a Nipissing University Community Leadership Experience student, bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and hands-on learning to every session.

Watch your child's imagination grow during Little Sprout Stories, a four-week storytime adventure all about the life cycle of a seed! Each week, children will enjoy a story told in sequential order—from Planting, to caring and companion Planting, to Harvesting, and finally to eating what they've grown.

After each story, little sprout-readers can dig into a fun, hands-on craft connected to the week's theme.🎨✂️ All crafting materials will be provided. 🌟
