November
Read, Sing, Play
Join us for a preschool program filled with music, stories, and crafts for ages 1-5 years with their parent/caregiver on Thursdays from 10:30 - 11AM in the Children's Storyroom. This is a free, drop-in style program.
This program will run from October 16 - November 20, 2025.
Reading Buddies
The North Bay Public Library and United for Literacy are partnering to bring you Reading Buddies!
Learners will read one-on-one with volunteer tutors or in small groups.
Sign up to join on Saturday mornings from 11AM - 12 Noon in the Children's Storyroom. This program will run from October 18 to November 29, 2025.
Please sign up in the Children's department at the circulation desk.
WhizKids
The North Bay Public Library and United for Literacy are partnering to bring you WhizKids!
This is a program of math fun and literacy games to boost numerancy and literacy skills for grades 1-4.
Sign up to join on Saturday afternoon from 1-2PM in the Children's Storyroom. This program will run from October 18 to November 29, 2025.

Book Bingo!
It's time for Book Bingo!
Join us on Tuesday November 25 from 6-7PM in the Mezzanine Room on the library's upper level.
Play Bingo, win books! Come on out and see if you win!
This is a family friendly event. Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Space and supplies are limited. Please register in advance.

Holiday Card Making!
🎄 Holiday Card Making at the Library! ✂️
Get into the festive spirit and make your season a little more special with handmade holiday cards! Whether you’re crafting for family, friends, or just for fun, join us for a cozy evening of creativity in the library auditorium on Wednesday, November 26, from 6:00–7:30 PM.
We’ll provide a variety of supplies; including cardstock, decorative paper, stamps, stickers, markers, and more to help you design unique and heartfelt holiday cards. No experience needed! Just bring your imagination and holiday cheer!
✨ All ages are welcome!
Please note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
🎁 This is a free event, and all supplies are provided but quantities are limited, so be sure to register in advance to reserve your spot.
